Queens' College is located where Silver Street crosses the River Cam: view map. The main entrance and Porters' Lodge is on Silver Street, beside the river. All visitors should call at the Porters' Lodge for further information. See the site plan for internal directions.

Public Transport

Queens' is within walking distance of the Cambridge bus/coach station at Drummer Street. See the bus/coach services.

Queens' is a long walk from the railway station; it is better to take a taxi. See the train services, and the real-time arrival/departure board.

The nearest airport is London Stansted.

Travel to/from College by road

View a route map of Cambridge, showing roads aound Queens'. With effect from 2003 August 6, Silver Street has restricted vehicular access at its west end to or from the junction of Queen's Road (the Backs), Sidgwick Avenue, and Newnham Road. The ways to get to or from Queens' are:

If you join the Ring Road at a different point, follow the Central Area signs for  Queens , until you reach the junction of Lensfield Road and Trumpington Street, then turn north up Trumpington Street, as above.

Parking at College is limited, and by permit only. Please telephone the Porters on 335511 to check arrangements before you set out, and call at the Porters' Lodge on arrival to pick up a parking permit. Students may not park at College, nor keep a car in Cambridge.
