Sundial 1948

Sundial 1948, before and after repainting.
Before the 1948 repainting, the sundial had lost its ball (again),
and was thus useless other than for reading the time of day.
Fom the photo taken after the repainting, it can be seen that:
- the zodiac symbols for Taurus (previously a closed 8) and
Libra have been corrected;
- several elevation curves and temporary hour lines which were
formerly truncated at the SW vertical are now extended to the
frame;
- at the bottom of the LONGITUDO column, near Gemini, the corrupt
figures 6.34 are changed to 16.30.
- the central large S is completely in the foreground, where
previously its top and bottom tails were entwined behind the
12 o'clock line.
