Views on applying to Cambridge	Coming from a state school I'd heard a lot about how 'posh' Cambridge was, and I knew that colleges were trying to be more 'diverse' in their selection of students. But when I got to Queens' it wasn't the diversity I noticed; it's the fact that once you get here you're part of a big happy family. No-one cares where you're from - remember that a lot of students here are from Europe or the Far East, so comparing public and state schools really pales in comparison! It's about what you contribute when you get here.
