| What excites me about my subject: | I love reading; novels, poetry, and drama. English is really great because you get to explore all sorts of aspects of society, and how people are, as well as looking at texts in more depth. The tiny details can be just as interesting as the big themes. | ||||
| What else I get up to in Cambridge: | I am in the Cambridge University Ceilidh band, with about 50 other people. I have played in the orchestra for the Gilbert and Sulivan society and attended salsa dance classes. I am a member of the Left Teaparty, an informal political discussion society. As well as this there is socialising, going to see plays, and even just staying in and sleeping. | ||||
| What I think about Queens': | Queens' is lovely, a close community without the college feeling huge. The old part of college is really beautiful and the new part is comfortable; the closeness of the spaces adds to the intimate feel of the college. Queens' is full of friendly people, and everyone finds someone they have something in common with. | ||||
