| Subject: Where from: School type: | SPS Southwell in Nottinghamshire State comprehensive | |||
| What excites me about my subject: | I love the breadth of the subject, as it offers an opportunity to study a wide range of topics; everything from 17th century political though to mental illness and the Iraq war! | ||||
| What else I get up to in Cambridge: | I was our college's freshers' rep, and am now welfare rep on the JCR. I also go to various dance classes, was in a play last term, and was the food and drink editor for one of the student papers. I enjoy going out with my friends, and often make trips down to London as the train connection is so quick! | ||||
| What I think about Queens': | Queens' is a great college, full of genuinely friendly and down to earth people. It's perhaps not as much of a party college as it was when I first arrived, and the pressure to work can sometimes be intense, but then that is something that comes with Cambridge life. It's the student body that really makes Queens' what it is; the college always seems to attract a really good cross-section of people, all of whom are up for a good time! | ||||
