Dining Privileges
Queens’ Members’ Dining Privileges
Members of the College of MA status, and not in residence for study, are invited, subject to availability, on one of two designated Sunday evenings,to one High Table Dinner during each full term at College expense, including one glass of wine, with up to two accompanying guests (cost per guest £25.00) at own expense, when Fellows are also dining.
All meals must be booked (and guests paid for by cash, cheque or Credit/Debit Card) through the Alumni & Development Office, at least one week in advance (A surcharge of 1.37% will be charged on all Credit Card payments. There is no charge on Debit Cards). Queens' Members are required to wear Academic dress in the SCR and at High Table.
In addition, Members, at their own expense and without the necessity of prior booking, may take advantage of unlimited access to College Cafeteria facilities, at Low Table, payment for which should be made in cash.
This, however, does not apply to Formal Hall (i.e. the served meal). Members may dine at Low Table in Formal Hall during term time only when they have been signed in, in the appropriate way, as a guest by an eligible Member of College, who is also dining.
