The College is pleased to announce that The Round has been officially completed and the donor plaque has been mounted. Thank you to all 86 alumni and friends of Queens' College who contributed.
The Round redevelopment included a new, modernized Porters’ Lodge, connecting Cloister from Fisher Building to Cripps, and the landscaping of the old car park into an attractive garden and walkway, which allows an unimpeded view to the Mathematical Bridge. A ceremonial Queens’ screen was commissioned for the entrance to the College and has been named Clarissa’s Gate, through the generosity of Mr Rodney Ward (1963).
