The T Society first met as the D Society on Tuesday 11th February 1941 under the chairmanship of the legendary Dean of Queens’ College Chapel, Henry Hart who lived in D Staircase. Traditionally the name has been changed each time a new Fellow takes the chair and thus over the years the Society has been named the D, E and FF Society. The chairman is now Dr Diana Henderson whose rooms are in T5.

Relaxed and informal the aim of the Society is: to stimulate informed discussion and debate on a wide range of issues. Distinguished speakers lead each event and cover topical, academic and often contentious subjects. The evening is an opportunity for Students and Fellows of Queens’ to meet. The discussions are held under Chatham House Rules.
